Polyamide 6 Cast filled Oil, better known as PA6G+OIL is a high crystalline modification of PA6G. Manufactured in the monomer casting process which, through the addition of oil , PA6G+OIL is specially designed for sliding applications.
PA6G+OIL offers excellent sliding properties, which makes it a special friction bearing material for highly loaded slide and wear parts in machines and equipment. Due to the its inner lubrication, a sustainable lubricating effect is achieved given for the whole life cycle. Compared to the standard quality, a 50 % reduction in friction is achieved, thus producing less frictional heat and considerably higher peak load capacity. Stick-slip effect is highly reduced.
An extraordinary wear resistance is achieved by the great crystal microstructure of PA6G+OIL generated by the additives. Compared with standard quality, the reduced frictional heat as well as the reduced friction coefficient makes application possible at higher speeds and surface pressures. This applies not only for dry running but also for running under emergency conditions.
Lower moisture absorption and dimensional stability are the result of PA6G+OIL the high crystalline molecular structure and the special additives. The low moisture absorption leads better dimensional stability and less of a reduction in the mechanical values due to moisture.
Polyamide 6 Cast filled Oil offers the same chemical resistance of standard PA6G.
Our Polyamide 6 Cast filled Oil is FDA approved and can also be certified according EC 1935/2004, EC 2023/2006 and EU 10/2011.
This great material is available in natural, black, yellow (more common colour), green, red and blue.
Polyamide 6 cast filled Oil, usually available in rods, tubes and plates, also in huge dimensions, is produced by different Companies, each one with its own commercial name. Although that, each PA6G+OIL has more less the same characteristics and can easily substitute one each other.
